Roger L. Collins, 68, of Olathe, passed away on December 31, 2018 at Olathe Medical Center.
He was born on May 9, 1950 to William and Nancy (Kelly) Collins at Detroit, MI.
On May 14, 1988, he married Shirley Ann Collins (Thatcher), and they made their home in Kansas City, MO. Roger worked as a cashier for Payless Foods in Olathe.
He was a member of College Church of the Nazarene, and enjoyed doing things with his family, driving the church van, and Model Railroading.
Roger is survived by his wife, Shirley, his children Morgan (Brian) and Justin, his mother-in-law, Doris, two brothers, four sisters, his grandmother, Sarah, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother and sister.
