Roe C. Smith, 82, of Olathe, KS passed away Wed. August 21, 2013 at the Olathe Medical Center. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Olathe Medical Center Hospice.
Roe was born Feb. 23rd 1931 in Kansas City, KS to Orville L. and Edna L. Smith, he graduated from Olathe High School and went to work for Southwestern Bell and later AT&T before retiring in 1989.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley in 2003 and his grandson Gregory Biddulph in 2012.
He is survived by his children; Brenda Myles of Columbus, OH, Ginny Biddulph (David) Olathe, KS, Bruce Smith (Cheryl) of Westmont, NJ and Scott Smith (Clifford Schroer) of Kansas City, MO. 6 grandchildren, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
