Robert Allen Taylor, 45, died on October 30, 2023, in Kansas City, KS.
Robert was born on July 30, 1978, in Milwaukee, WI. He moved to Marshfield at age 2 and remained there through his high school years. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1996. In 1997 he joined the US Army and received an honorable discharge in 1999. He earned his degree in business/finance from UW Eau Claire. He moved to Dallas, TX and then Phoenix, AZ. After a brief marriage he returned to WI and then MN. In recent years he moved to Salt Lake City, UT to work for Amazon and ended up in South Dakota.
Robert enjoyed playing volleyball and disc golf. He also loved hiking and visiting many National parks out west. He was very close to his sister, Keri, and took great effort to spend Christmas together every year until he moved to Texas. He was also very close with his nephew, Todd. They enjoyed mountain biking, playing video games and watching sports. He loved spending time with his friends, Nate and Joey, grilling out, helping with home projects and trips to Vegas. Those friendships were very important to him.
Robert is survived by his father, Allen (Michele) Taylor of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; his mother, Connie (Jim) Limmex of Marshfield, WI; his sister, Keri Taylor of Lakeville, MN; his brother, Jake (Rachel) Limmex of St. Paul, MN; his sister, Allison Taylor of Tempe, AZ; and his nephew, Todd Lewis of Lakeville, MN.
Services will be held on Saturday November 25, 2023, at Cornerstone Community Church in Marshfield, WI at 11:00 with a lunch to follow. Burial will be in Loyal, WI later that day with military honors.
