Rob was very proud of his service to his community on the Dallas Police Force, being a terminal manager for Consolidated Freight Ways, and being a Hazmat Materials Specialist for Yellow Corp. Rob was an avid HAM Radio operator (KE5BR), recently receiving the coveted Honor Roll DXCC award for contacting over 332 countries. He was a lifetime member of the Santa Fe Trail Amateur Radio Club. He was also a member of the Mill Creek Rifle Club where he enjoyed target practice and teaching others weapons safety, familiarization, and how to shoot, and shoot well.
He also served faithfully as an usher for Grace United Methodist Church for many years.
We would like to thank Rob's Care Team at Advent Health, Shawnee Mission for absolute heroic efforts to keep Rob with us. Rob will always be in our hearts, just as he has always been there for his neighborhood, friends, and family. Rob wasn't a stranger to anybody and was always willing to go the extra mile to help others.
