Robert P. Miller, age 75, of Olathe, Kansas passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010.
Robert was born October 24, 1934, in Tabor, Iowa, to Benjamin and Gladys Miller. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1954 and served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1958. Robert married Evelyn Plummer on September 10, 1960, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Upon retirement from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1996, he and Evelyn moved to Olathe to be near family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, N. Bruce Miller, a sister, Beth Leota Miller, and a nephew, Michael "Dub" Miller.
Robert is survived by his wife of 49 years, Evelyn P. Miller; two daughters, Jeanne Bradford and husband, Barry, Dawn Owens and husband, Scott. Grandchildren; Grant, Colton and Hope Owens, Noah, Sydney and Sloane Bradford all of Olathe, Kansas. Three sisters; Zola Shipman, Dorcas Gibson, and Lois Ellis. Five brothers; B. Wendell Miller, Herbert Miller, Samuel Miller, J. Joel Miller, and K. Harvey Miller.
