Robert Lee Millbern, 84, of Olathe, KS, passed away on May 25, 2018 at Olathe Hospice House.
He was born on July 1, 1933 to William and Thelma (McPheeters) Millbern at Baldwin, KS.
Bob served our country in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1955, and returned to the states in 1990 after thirty years as Director of Marketing in Europe for The John Deere company.
On October 31, 1953 , he married Andree O. Chopin. Robert and Andree made their home in Metz and Etain, France.
He was a life-time the American Legion and a life-time member of the Olathe Lions noon club.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Andree, and four daughters, Betty Anne, Monique, Suzanne and Lorraine, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 3:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe, KS, with visitation an hour prior to service time.
Memorials are suggested to the Earl Collier American Legion Post # 153.
