ROBERT M. ELLIOTT, 54, passed away from complications due to kidney failure on September 4, 2010 in Lexington, NC. Robert was born in Olathe on September 20, 1955, and lived there most of his life. He was employed by the City of Olathe and Olathe School District. Robert lived a vibrant life, filled with many adventures. He was true to his unique personality and genuine beliefs to the very end and will be missed by many. He is survived by his father, Dr. O.M. Elliott (Nancy) of Olathe, daughter Leah (Chris) Pruitt and their son, Aiden, two sisters, Laura Vaughn of Anderson, IN, and Linda Leary (Jay) of Burnsville, MN, two nephews, one niece, two grandsons and companion, Deborah Clonch. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Elliott, and his son, Michael Elliott. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 13 from 9:30am to 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Olathe, with a Memorial service beginning at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Robert M. Elliott Memorial fund in care of First National Bank of Olathe, or to First Baptist Church of Olathe.
