Robert Kochersperger

ROBERT "BOB" KOCHERSPERGER, age 92, soared into his new life on March 3, 2011. A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 3:00pm at Grace United Methodist Church, 11485 Ridgeview, Olathe, KS, where the family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Shawnee Bible Church to be used for the Alaskan Mission.
Bob was born January 24, 1919 in Philadelphia, PA to Alexander and Ella Kochersperger. He served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and returned to work with TWA, where he retired after 43 years of service.
He was a model airplane enthusiast, and enjoyed sharing his skills with young people. Bob was a long-time member of Shawnee Bible Church.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Joyce Kochersperger, his children Bob (Cindy) Kochersperger, Jr., Kathy Kochersperger, Wendy Kochersperger, and John (Suzanne) Kochersperger, his grandchildren; Adam, Amanda, Kevin, Adam, Danielle, Gabriel, Bridget, Patrick, and Alexander, and eleven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth Birkett.
