Robert "Bob" M. Hinz, 89, passed away on July 27, 2015 in Overland Park, KS.
Bob was born January 24, 1926 in Clinton, Iowa to William and Hazel Hinz. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII, and was honorably discharged as a Flight Officer in 1953. In 1947, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ann Cronin in Overland Park, KS. Bob was employed with Sears as a Merchandise Manager, retiring after 28 years of service.
Bob was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the VFW, and the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving family include his sons, Joe Brewster, Robert M. Hinz, Jr., John B. Hinz, and William B. Hinz, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, his brother Dennis Hinz, and his sister Betty Pardic.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
