Robert Hilger

Robert "Bob" Hilger, 80, passed away Monday August 25th from complications of diabetes.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contribution to Wayside Waifs.
Bob was born Nov. 15, 1933 in David City, NE to Harold and Frances Hilger. He was a Sgt. in the US Marine Corp. during the Korean War and retired from Tyson Foods in 2001 after 27 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved son Michael Robert Hilger, his sister Jane Juarez and her husband Rome, his brother in law Merlin Franzen and 3 nephews.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Sharon Hilger, their children; Susan and James Bohr, John and Yvonne Hilger, Julie and Devin Heese, and Anthony and Jennifer Hilger. 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Diane Franzen.
