Richard Vaughn

Richard Eugene Vaughn age 81, of Olathe, Kansas passed away October 21, 2013 at Olathe Medical Center. Richard was born August 9, 1932, in Independence, Kansas, the son of Ernest and Lola Vaughn. He served three years in the US Army. He worked 15 years at KC Structural Steel before retiring from the Olathe School System in 2002. He was a loving husband, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lola Vaughn; 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Vaughn; son, Kent Vaughn and wife Tien; daughters, Tammi Davis, Becky Graham; sister, Betty Ramsey; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

Memorial Contributions may be made to either the Redeemer Olathe Lutheran Church or to Redeemer's Lutheran Women's Missionary League, contributions may both be given in care of Redeemer Olathe Lutheran Church, 920 S. Alta Lane Olathe, KS 66061.
