Richard W. Sullivan, 88, of Leawood, Kansas passed away September 6, 2014 at Sweet Life of Brookdale. Richard was born December 17, 1925. He served in the Army during World War II from 1944 to 1946. Resided in Kansas City, Kansas, Armourdale, and moved to Olathe in 1977. Retired from Southwestern Bell in 1987 after 41 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife Laura Sullivan and great grandson Austin Hawkins.
Survivors include his children Richard Sullivan (Diane), Patricia Hawkins (Richard) and Debora Foley (Steve); Grandchildren Ken, Kristi, Denise, Leslie, Corey, Ryan, Mike, Tracie, and Darcy; great grandchildren Beau, Savannah, Trenton, Brandon, Brett, Paige, and Claire.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer Association or to the Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland.
