Richard Scott Ingle

Richard Scott Ingle, 60, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away October 19, 2009 at Olathe Medical Center.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Olathe Park Foundation or to the Optimist International Foundation.

Richard was born April 22, 1949 in Iola, KS. He married Peggy VanBuskirk on June 27, 1970 in Gulfport, MS. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served aboard an aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean Sea. He was employed with the City of Olathe Park and Recreation Department until his retirement May 28, 2009. Richard was an avid Nascar and football fan. He enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia.

Richard is survived by his wife, Peggy, of the home, his son Jeffery (Shelia) of Paris, Arkansas, two grandsons Benjamin Kyle and Zackery Taylor, as well as his father Jessie O. Ingle, Olathe, his brother David (Janet) Ingle, Olathe, and sister Debra Graves of Spring Hill, and other close family members.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma J. Ingle.
He will be deeply missed and loved forever.
