Richard Kenton

Rick Kenton, 48, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 5, 2014. He passed away from complications of cancer while surrounded by his family at the Kansas City Hospice House.

Rick was born July 14, 1966 in Kansas City, MO to Dorothy and Esli Kenton Jr. Rick was married to the love of his life, Mitzi DeNeve, on December 29, 1989. They were married for 25 years. Rick graduated from Wentworth Military Academy in 1986. Rick worked in the Lock industry since 1988. He was an outside sales representative for Smallwood Lock in Kansas City, KS at the time of his passing.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Mitzi; their daughter Kathlyn Rebecca; brother Tom (Orla); and sister Cindi (Ken).

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be given to either the Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64145 or to Positive Changes, C/O Rick Davidson, 531 N. Walker, Olathe, KS 66061.
