RICHARD DEAN CHAPPELL
Age 70, passed away November 11, 2008, in Olathe, KS after a brief illness. Private services will be held. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Richard was born December 18, 1937 in Kansas City, MO to Theodore and Lillian Chappell. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force following the Korean Conflict. He married Virginia "Ginny" Akers on October 7, 1956, and they raised their family in the Olathe Area. He retired from the FAA in 1972, and later formed Studio 10 Photography, and in his leisure was an avid hunter.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ginny, his children Julie (George) Xenos, and Carol (James) Butler, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
