Rhonda Montee

RHONDA MONTEE Age 49, passed away April 4, 2008 at her home, after a battle with ovarian cancer the past three years. Memorial contributions are suggested to Olathe Hospice.

Rhonda was born August 15, 1958 to Donald and Evelyn Simmons in Chanute, KS . She graduated from Kansas School for the Deaf in 1978, and graduated from Brown Mackie College in 1979. Rhonda worked for Reliance Label Solutions for more than 20 years. She was married to Mark S.Montee on May 9, 1998.

Survivors include her husband,Mark of the home, her step-daughter Debbie Montee Ross and her husband, Jason Ross, grandchildren Caden and Henry Ross, brothers Dennis Simmons, Inman, KS, Larry Simmons, Earlston, KS, James Simmons, Oswego, KS, her twin-brother, Ron Simmons, Chanute, KS, sister, Brenda Simmons, and her mother, Evelyn Simmons, also of Chanute. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald C. Simmons, and brother Donald G. Simmons. Rhonda will be missed by her close friends, Terri Hitchcock, Mary Beth Wasinger, and Casandra Stewart.
