REVEREND E. DALE KEITH
Age 59, went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2007 in Olathe, KS. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2007 from 7:00-8:30p.m. at College Church of the Nazarene in Garrett Chapel, 2020 E. Sheridan, Olathe, KS, followed by funeral services on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m., also in Garrett Chapel. Interment, Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorials to City Union Mission, Attention: Bookkeeping, 1100 E. 11th St., Kansas City, MO 64106, or to the College Church of the Nazarene Bus Ministry.
Dale was born April 27, 1948 in Knoxville, Iowa to Hugh and Helen Keith. He served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps, and married Patricia Choate in December 10, 1966. He went on to graduate from Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, CO, and began his pastorate in Iowa. Dale eventually received his Bachelor's degree from Mid-America Nazarene University, and also received a Master's degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Pat, continued their ministry in South Dakota until 2001, at which time they returned to the Olathe area. For the last five years, he has enjoyed serving as a Chaplain at City Union Mission.
He is survived by his wife, Pat, of Edgerton, his children Donna (John) Oster, of Olathe, and Gary (Mandy) Keith, of Punxsutawney, PA, his mother Helen Keith, formerly of Des Moines, IA, his grandchildren; John Dale Oster, Caleb Oster, and Caleb Keith, his sister Shirley Holmes, and his brothers Richard and Russell Keith. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Keith.
