Renee (Runnels) Silvers 63, of Olathe, KS passed away Tuesday, January 8th.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Renee was born July 4, 1949 in Kirksville, MO. She was a 1967 graduate of Olathe High School and then graduated from nursing school. She also worked for many years as an administrative assistant at Motorola, as well as, a legal assistant at Hyatt Legal Services.
Renee was a wonderful sister and friend to many and a devoted, loving mother to the light of her life, her son, Gene (G.R.) Silvers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Runnels.
Renee is survived by her son, G.R. Silvers, her mother, Virginia Runnels. Sisters; Pam Rushing and Tresa Murphy. Brother; Wayne Runnels. Brother in law; Mick Murphy. Nephews; Scott Murphy, Mason Rushing, Jim Novak and Jay Fromholtz. Nieces; Kim Novak, Monica Fromholtz, Tausha Murphy, Deborah Rushing and 6 great nieces and nephews.
Renee was fun loving, full of life and love and will be deeply missed.
