Raymond "Kent" Schrowe

August 26, 1950 — January 28, 2020

Raymond "Kent" Schrowe, 69, of Olathe, passed away on January 28, 2020. He was born on August 26, 1950 to Harold Schrowe and Virginia Heath in Indianapolis, IN.

Kent was born and grew up in Indianapolis, IN He graduated from Arsenel Technical High School in 1968. He started with Indiana Lumberman's Mutual Insurance Company in 1976 and was transferred to Kansas City with his family in 1980. He retired from Lumberman's in 2008. Kent was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved his Law and Order. Kent was a friend to everyone he met and the nicest guy you could meet. He will be missed dearly.

Kent is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer Schrowe; sister, Eleanor Rudicle; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Schrowe; father, Harold Schrowe; mother, Virginia Lee; sister, Beverly Smallwood; and brother, Gene Schrowe.

The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Penwell Gabel's Olathe Chapel. A Celebration of Life in Indianapolis will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to Vitas Hospice, 8527 Bluejacket Drive, Lenexa, KS 66214, please note Kent's name on your check.
