Raymond William Less

Raymond William Less, 58, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. He was born on August 5, 1963 in Omaha, Nebraska to Richard and Susan (Fay) Less.
Ray graduated from Millard South High School, and went on to attend the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and received his MBA from Washburn University.
Following graduation, Ray worked in Topeka, KS, where he met his wife, Stevie.
Ray was most recently employed as a Loan Auditor, and also worked in loan review and regulatory compliance for banks. He co-owned his own firm, but recently sold/merged the business with Whitlock Company.
According to his son, Ryan, he was the best hunter and fisherman. Ray enjoyed hunting in Minnesota and western Kansas with his dog, Hershey. He was known to enjoy popcorn for dinner, and attended all of his children's school and church events. Ray also loved to decorate for all of the holidays, especially Halloween, where his house was always a neighborhood favorite. He was also a loyal Nebraska Husker fan.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie "Stevie" Less; children, Kylie Less (30), Dylan Less (24), and Ryan Less (17), his parents, Richard and Susan Less; and his brother, William Less.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Marguerite Less and William and Laura Fay.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 15550 S Lackman Rd, Olathe, KS 66062, with a reception following. Regardless of vaccination status, everyone in attendance will be required to wear a mask.
