Raymond Abraham Jones, Jr.

In memory of Raymond Abraham Jones Jr., 81, of Olathe, Kansas. He passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was born on December 30, 1942 in Olathe, Kansas to Raymond and Nadine (Bevins) Jones.

Raymond grew up in Olathe, KS where he worked at Johnson County Road and Bridge for over 30 years. In 1960 Raymond fell in love with Sharon Walters. They married in 1963. You would never see Raymond with out Sharon hand in hand.

Raymond’s favorite things in life were family, fishing, grilling, and being outdoors. Raymond knew how to get everyone involved in having a good time. Raymond spread kindness and love to everyone he met. 

Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Jones, daughters, Debra Hopkins and Darla Jones, two sons-in-law, Bill and Jose, his four siblings, Geri, Jack, Lena, and Betty, his six grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Nadine, son, Brian Jones, and two brothers, Chuck and Howard.
