Raymond Orlando Johnston

Raymond Orlando Johnston, 92, of Olathe, passed away on September 27, 2023 at Colonial Village.
He was born on March 17, 1931, to Burl and Ethel (Wise) Johnston at Garland, KS.
Raymond served our country in the United States Air Force for over 24 years, including service in Vietnam, being honorably discharged in 1976. Later in life, he enjoyed a career in real estate prior to his retirement.
On May 24, 1952, he married Marjorie Doris Welch, and they made their home in numerous places before settling in Olathe, Kansas.
He was a member of College Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, and card games.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie, children Malinda Sides (Paul), Lou Ann (Michael), Raymond Neal (Lynette), 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association and the College Church Ambassadors Benevolent Fund.
