Raymond E. Cunningham, 93, of Olathe, passed away on May 11, 2018 at Olathe Hospice House.
He was born on April 13, 1925 to Oral and Ida (Williams) in Greeley, Kansas.
Raymond was in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946.
On April 5th 1947, he married Helen Dugger.
Raymond worked as a Truck Driver for Farmland Industries. Besides the love of driving a semi-truck, he loved traveling across the country in his 1976 Ford pick up & camper with Helen and their family. He also loved being outside taking care of his home and riding his John Deere.
Raymond is survived by his daughters Carol Laundy and Robin Blattner both of Olathe, Kansas, sons Craig Cunningham and Scott Cunningham both of Spring Hill, Kansas. Raymond has 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Viola Ralston of Parker, Kansas, Laura Becker of Wichita, Kansas, Mary Damman of Clifton, Kansas and one brother, Charles Cunningham of Lane, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen, his daughter Connie Rae, his parents Oral and Ida, brothers Roy and Gene and sisters Myrtle and Doris.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 11:00 am at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe, Ks with visitation on hour prior to the service time.
Memorials are suggested to Olathe Hospice House.
