RANDY G. DAVIS

Age 57, passed away November 27, 2007, at his home in Overland Park, KS. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 30 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church, 14301 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, KS, where the family will receive friends an hour prior to service time. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association, 6800 West 93rd, Overland Park, KS 66212, or to the The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1400, New York, NY 10122,
Randy was born November 15, 1950 in Mitchell, S.D., to Gerald and Marjorie Davis. He graduated from Mitchell High School, and went on attend the University of South Dakota. He married Colleen McElroy on May 7, 1977 in Mitchell, S.D. They moved to Ft. Meyers, Florida in 1980, then relocated to the Kansas City area in 1988. Together with his wife, they owned and operated The Mailroom in Olathe, KS for 18 years.
Randy was an avid sports enthusiast, and he looked forward to their families father and son ski trip every year. He was happiest when spending time with his family. They will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen, of the home, his son Adam, Overland Park, KS, his mother Marjorie Davis, Eden Prairie, MN, his sisters, Linda ( Al) Leck of Danville, CA, Barb Dickey, Des Moines, IA, and Pam (Rex) Nelson, of Eden Prairie, MN, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, in 1987, and his sister, Deanna Davino, in 2001.
