Ralph Engelbrecht

RALPH J. ENGELBRECHT, age 86, passed away August 4, 2010 in Overland Park, KS. He was born October 9, 1923 in Jefferson City, MO to Theodore and Anna Engelbrecht. He married Virginia Sevra and together they raised their son, Stanley. Virginia passed away in 1977, and he then married Louise Hercules, and together they made their home in Overland Park. Louise preceded him in death in 2008.
Ralph served 37 years with General Motors Leeds Plant. He was very active in his church, Bethany Lutheran , Overland Park, and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children Stanley Engelbrecht, Roy Davidson, and Charles (Rita) Hercules, grandchildren Heather Gardner and Cari Alderman, Paul, James, and Andrew Davidson, and Holly Hansen and Michael Hercules. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, his sisters Myrene Zey, Geneva Williams, and Doris Vestal, and his brother Marvin Engelbrecht. He was preceded in death by a sister Lucille Engelbrecht.
