Peter A. "Pete" Anderson, 63, of Naples, Florida, passed away on December 2, 2018.
He was born October 1, 1955 in Ishpeming, Michigan to Robert and Ann (Pearce) Anderson, and graduated from Aurora High School, Aurora, Ohio. Pete went on to graduate from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelors Degree of Business Administration.
Pete lived in Michigan, Ohio, and Colorado before moving to the Kansas City area. He was employed as the Controller for Ball's Food Stores for 28 years, before retiring and moving to Naples, Florida.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, and enjoyed reading, photography, watching sports on television and taking vacations.
Survivors include his ex-wife Dona Anderson, and their children Steven Anderson and Cynthia (Justin) Daniels, his former wife Tina Anderson, step-children Jason Yeager and Jennifer (Mark) Keller, grandchildren Ethan Peter and Parker Bradley Daniels, step-grand-children Alexis and Austin Keller. He is also survivied by his siblings Mary (Terry) Lindstrom, Roberta Rondeau, and Patrick Anderson, his nieces Robin, Anna and Selina, nephews Randy and Michael, and his best buddy, his dog, Ziggy!
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 10:30am at Penwell-Gabel Olathe Chapel, with visitation an hour prior to the service. A reception at the chapel will follow the service. At Pete's request, please wear brightly-colored clothing in Celebration of his Life.
