Pedro Cruz-Herrera, 79, of Lenexa, KS, formerly of Carolina, Puerto Rico, passed away on August 11, 2020 at Villa St. Francis.
He was born on June 29, 1941 to Ramon Cruz and Ramona Herrera in Carolina, Puerto Rico.
Pedro worked as a Security Guard for the city hall in Carolina, Puerto Rico .
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching action movies and nature shows, the zoo, but most of all he lived spending time with his great-grandchildren.
Pedro is survived by his loving children, Aracelis Aleman (Nicolas), Pedro Cruz- Lopez, Elda Ramirez (Joseph) and grand-children, Yashira Coles (Paul), Maria Velazquez, Nicole Walker, Nicholas Aleman, Andrea Aleman, Mireya Aleman, Pedro A. Delgado, Joseph Delgado, Sheila T. Cruz Correa, Pedro J. Cruz Correa, Oliva Cruz Buzz,Chamtequier Cruz Correa, his nephew Francisco Cedres-Davila, and his great-grandchildren Lucas Coles, Yamil Delgado, Alexandria Phommachanh, Evangeline Coles, and Addalyn Walker, Noelia Rubí López Cruz.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, daughter and brother.
A memorial service will be held at Cedar Lake on Sunday August 16th, 2020.
Pedro Cruz will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
