In 1967, Pauline was named Woman of the Year by the Olathe chapter of the American Business Women's Association. She was also active within the Olathe Hospital Foundation, and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Loftus, of their home in Olathe, her daughter Jan Martin and husband Steve, of Denver, CO, her son Mike Loftus of Edgerton, KS, and her grandson, Mike Loftus II, of Olathe. She is also survived by her brothers, Ralph Rusher, Warren Rusher and his wife Stella, and Charles Rusher and his wife Sharon, and her sister Ethel Chaney and her husband, Bob, and many nieces and nephews.
"Aunt Pauline", as she was known to so many, will be dearly missed, but we take comfort knowing she is at home with her loved ones, and Timmy II ( her beloved poodle).
