Paula Robertory

Paula Ann Robertory, 46, of Olathe, KS passed away January 4, 2012 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S Blackbob Rd, Olathe, followed by Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 10:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 W. 143rd, Olathe, KS. In lieu of cards or flowers, the family suggests memorials to The Kansas University Cancer Center or to a memorial fund established in her son's names, Paula Robertory Memorial, c/o Bank of the Prairie, 23600 College Blvd, Olathe, KS 66061.

Paula was born on June 9, 1965, in Hastings, MN to LeRoy and Jeanette Sanders. She enjoyed teaching and was employed by Fairfax County and Prince William County Public Schools in Virginia prior to moving to Kansas in 2006.

She is preceded in death by her father; LeRoy Sanders. Surviving are her husband, Peter, children Alex and Andrew, her mother; Jeanette Sanders; siblings Robert (Maureen) Sanders, Donna Settle, and Eric (Stacy) Sanders. She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Ruth Robertory, brothers-in-law; Robert (Paige) Robertory and Keith (Susan) Robertory and was loved by many nieces and nephews.
