Paul Allen Moneymaker, 72, of Olathe, KS, passed away on August 10th, 2017 after a hard fought two year battle with Cancer. He was born July 14th, 1945 in Moline, Illinois to Paul & Leota (Mathias) Moneymaker.
Paul was raised in the Quad Cities in Illinois. He gradated from Moline High School and soon after enlisted in the United States Army. He became a Tank Commander and proudly served in the Vietnam War. Paul went on to work and made his career in the transportation industry where he held several positons over the years. On September 9th, 1989 he married Charla Vincent. In 1998, Paul and his family moved to Overland Park, KS. He retired from Con-Way Transportation in 2008 as a Region Manager. Paul enjoyed golfing, NASCAR racing, the KC Chiefs & Royals, traveling and especially time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Charla Moneymaker, Olathe KS; his Daughters, Kathy Moneymaker-Reedy (Jack Stout) Silvis IL, Chris & Kelly (Moneymaker) Stegh, Chicago IL, Jeremy & Ashley (Moneymaker) Higgins, Olathe KS; Sister & Brother-in-law, Calvin & Norma (Moneymaker) Flater Atalissa, IA; Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law Janella & Craig Rosenthal, Brookhaven, MS; Brother-in-law Rick Vincent, Geneseo, IL; Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law Brad & Cheryl Vincent, East Moline IL; Mother-in-law Phyllis Gibler, Geneseo IL: Grandchildren, Nicholas Reedy, Moline IL, Taylor Reedy (Mariah Imler), Moline IL , Alex Reedy (Holly McCracken), Silvis IL, Madisson Willard, Silvis IL, Owen & Leah Stegh, Chicago IL, Carter & Reese Higgins, Olathe KS; and his great-grandchildren Isabella Reedy, Moline IL, Mason Reedy, Silvis IL.
He is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Sisters, Donna Anderson and Carol Murphy; Brother, Steven Moneymaker.
