Paul E. Curl of Olathe, Ks. was born December 26, 1940 in Plattsburg, Mo. to parents William L. and Leona O. Curl.
He was raised on a farm with 5 sisters and 2 brothers. He loved the country life and his family very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William L. Curl and Leona O. Curl; sister, Annalee (Curl) Fowler; brother Robert Curl; and sister Drinda (Curl) Aldridge.
He is survived by his wife, Carol M. Curl; son, Mark E. Curl; sisters, Nancy (Curl) Coleman, Billie (Curl) Delaney, Leona (Curl) Morlan; brother, Norman Curl; one grandson, Michael A. Curl; along with many other loved ones and friends that he loved so much.
Paul loved football, drag racing, stock car racing, Indy 500 races and fishing. He enjoyed a hobby on the side of rebuilding cars and trucks. Paul had two projects that were his most successful: a 1965 Ford Pickup and a 1970 Chevelle. You could tell by the finished product just how much he loved what he did.
Paul worked many jobs in his life and was successful. His last position was with O'Reiley Automotive at 913 E. Santa Fe in Olathe. He enjoyed the job and working with the friends he had made there very much.
Paul had so many friends over the years and he touched so many lives. Paul lived a great life being married 53 years. He loved life, family and his friends very much.
