Paul Luther Adams passed away on Jan. 12, 2017. Paul was born in Clarinda, Iowa on Feb. 19, 1934, to parents Helen and Harold Adams. Paul was raised a Baptist Preacher's son with hard working parents and had three siblings. Paul worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He served as a school bus driver for several years after he retired. He was a volunteer fireman for the Liberty, Mo. Fire Department. He also served as a Church Usher and on several voluntary boards.
Paul is survived by his wife, MaryAnn, one son, two step-daughters, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and four step-grandchildren. Paul had one son, Rick Adams, who passed away in 1988. His surviving son, Pete Robbins (Brenda), resides in the Kansas City area.
Before becoming ill, Paul was gregarious, never met a stranger, and enjoyed many happy years at the Lake of the Ozarks with MaryAnn. A Celebration of Paul's life will be at a gathering at the home on Saturday, Jan. 21 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Family and friends are encouraged to come. Cremation and a private burial to take place at a later date.
