Age 62, passed away November 23, 2009 at his home in Olathe, KS, after a year-long battle with cancer.
Pat was born May 18, 1947 in Parsons, KS to Francis and Mary Jane O'Hara. He graduated from St Patrick's Catholic High School, Labette County Community College, and Pittsburg State University. He served our country in the U.S. Army, and was a Vietnam veteran with the 101st Airborne. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 34 years of service as an Engineer. He was a long-time member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carole, his children David (Tracey) O'Hara, Michael (Stephanie) O'Hara, John (Raquel) O'Hara, and Jane (Mike) Melichar, grandchildren Shaun, Haleigh, Derek, Michael, Megan, Ciara, Cailyn, Johnny, Jaclyn, and Brian, his brother Michael O'Hara, and sisters Shirley Casey, Mary Jo Ruttgen, and Cathy Woolard, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
