Patricia Kay Brown, 77, of Overland Park, Kansas, died peacefully in her sleep on February 19, 2020, at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.
Born October 9, 1942 in Norman, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late, Roy and Elsie (Wharton) Cardwell. As a family, they moved to California when she was very young. She fell in love with the beach and was always happiest when she was at the ocean.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jon A. Brown; three daughters, Suzanne Maninger of Olathe, KS, Julianne Matt and husband, Terry of Labadie, MO, and Dianne Faintich and husband, Ronn of Lake St. Louis, MO; 6 grandchildren, Jacob Lassman and wife, Haley, Zachary Lassman, Abby Matt, Sarah Matt, Alex Faintich and Brian Faintich and sisters Jill Veltri and husband John of Downey, CA and Roycie Murren and husband Stan of Lakewood, CA.
In respect of her wishes, a celebration of her life will take place at the beach in California this summer.
