Patricia S Brady passed away on Friday October 5th. Patricia was born on November 29, 1937 to Ira and Alma L Jones in Pittsburg Kansas, she is survived by her husband, Donald Brady of Mesa AZ, two daughters, Iris McKinney and her husband Michael of Mesa AZ, Elizabeth Sparks and her husband Terry of Osage Beach Mo, three sons: Dan Moore and wife Denise of Olathe KS, Gregg Moore and his wife Debbie of Overland Park, Brian Moore and his wife Kelly of Kansas City KS. She has 10 grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren and three unborn Great-grandchildren, four sisters; Virginia (Irene) Main of Pahrump NV, Barbara Jenkins of Hastings NE, Carolyn Moore of Olathe Ks & Loretta Carpenter of Claremont NC and one Honary Brother Tom Cooper of Olathe KS. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Danny Michael & Billy Wayne, and one sister, Bonnie Cooper.
Patricia was a very hard worker and raised 5 children as a waitress until she moved into the food business and worked at Safeway until she retired. In 2009 Patricia and her husband Don Brady retired to Mesa AZ. In her retirement years a couple of her passions were photography and helping people. She donated her time to volunteer at Justa Center, a 55 and older Day Center for the homeless, in Phoenix AZ. At the Justa Center they called her their professional photographer because she always had a camera with her.
Patricia's hobby was crafts and working in her flower and herb garden where ever she lived. She was also very proficient in garage sales. Her big thing was to go straight to the dishware and flip the dishes over to see where they were made, especially the Fiesta ware dishes. She has worked very hard over the years to have a very nice collection of Fiesta ware.
Patricia was very passionate about her family. She was very excited about her new little great grand babies coming into this world. She would travel back to Kansas City every year for the big family reunion and to spend time will all of her grand and great grandchildren.
She worried about all of them and loved every letter, email, text and pictures that she received.
Her family loved her so much and she will be missed!
