Opal Bishop

Opal Kathryn Trent was born August 13th 1925 in Talant, OK to George and Floy Trent. The family moved from OK to KS when Opal was eight years old. She attended KS schools and graduated from El Dorado High School in 1942.

Opal married Robert E. Bishop and to this union was born a son Robert J. Bishop. Later the marriage ended and Opal remarried. For 9 years she raised her husband's six daughters and for 3 ½ years she mothered two foster children, she loved them all very much.

Opal was called by the Lord to be an Evangelist, to go and serve several years in Sun Valley Arizona working with the Navajo Indians at the Sun Valley Arizona Indian School. She was also a Foster Grandparent, helping children who needed guidance and teaching children how to read.

Opal requested cremation, and was preceded by her parents and 2 brothers Dr Jimmie Trent of Oxford, OH and George Trent of Wichita, KS. She is survived by 1 brother and 1 sister Jerry Trent of Oklahoma City, OK and Wanda Dannenfelser of Baltimore, MD; Also survived by her Son Robert J Bishop, Grandson Justin D. Bishop, Granddaughters' Melody Dijulio, Kristin Knox, and Angela Lusso. Great Grandson Justin Donavan Bishop, Ethan Bishop, Hunter Lusso, Weston Dijulio, Great Granddaughter Jessica Bishop, and Great-Great Grandchildren Macey, Ryker, and Loki Bishop.
