OLIVER DOUGLAS CLEM
Age 78, passed away December 28, 2005 in Olathe, KS. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 1:30p.m. at College Church of the Nazarene, Garrett Chapel, 2020 E. Sheridan, Olathe, where the family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment, Olathe Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to College Church of the Nazarene or to Good Samaritan Nursing Center.
Mr. Clem was born July 1, 1927 in Fort Scott, KS to Oliver Wendell Clem and Lavina Deringer Clem. He attended and graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1949 and Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1952. His life's work was devoted to his ministry within the Nazarene Church. In 1991, he retired from his position as a pastor after 40 years of service.
He is survived by his children; Paul Clem, Olathe, KS, Marilyn Wieczorek, Mt. Vernon, SD, Janice Wessels, Olathe, KS, and Tim Clem, Edmond, OK, his sister Virginia Herren, Burleson, TX, and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern Elaine Clem, and his brothers Don and Leon Clem.
