Olive "Dolly" Mae Benedick, 87, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away February 22, 2014 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Dolly was born June 9, 1926, to Frank and Josephine Owens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James H. Benedick; partner Farley Redfern; partner Bob Israel; brothers Tom, Odie, Burt, and Willie Owens; daughter Donna Hemphill;
Survivors include her sisters Mae Miller, Carrie Hopper, and Opal Cheek, her children Geraldine Bush, James H. (Beth) Benedick Jr, Franklin (Sharon) Benedick, Sondra (Bryan) Minter, and Tammy Benedick; her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
