NORMAN W. CROSS
Norman W. Cross, 79, Olathe, KS, passed away March 5, 2005. The son of Isaac and Gertrude Cross, Norman was born in Ira, Iowa, July 22, 1925.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, and one grandchild. He was elected to and served on the Edgerton City Council for four years, and was most recently retired from Johnson County Government in 1990.
He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy for over 57 years. He was an US Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of Earl Collier Post #153 of the American Legion and the VFW.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Geneva B. Cross of the home; one daughter, Delores Haynes and husband Arnie, Holly Michigan; four sons, Leslie Cross and wife Sherry, Russell Cross and fiancé' Cynthia Reed, Chris Cross and wife Pam, all of Olathe; and Danny Cross and wife Sheila of Kilgore, Texas.
