Norma Lou Sprague, 67, Spring Hill, Kansas passed away at the Golden Living Center in Spring Hill, on Tuesday, July 27, 2010.
Norma was born September 18, 1943 in Newton, Massachusetts to Norman and Muriel Hildreth. She graduated from Wellesley High School in 1961, and attended Endicott Jr. College in Beverly, MA. She was married to G. Robert (Bob) Sprague in 1962. Norma was employed as an insurance claims adjuster for several years before moving with her family to Olathe, KS in 1980. Her most recent employment was cashier at the Olathe HY-VEE.
Her hobbies included sewing, needlework, quilting, jewelry making, and other crafts. She would regularly make Christmas ornaments for friends and family. She also loved photography and animals.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Hildreth; her mother, Muriel Hildreth; and infant son, John Robert Sprague.
Norma is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bob; son Chris (Natalie); granddaughter Molly Lou, of Gardner, KS; and brother, James Hildreth (Janice) of NJ.
In lieu of flowers, Norma requested a donation be made to the American Cancer Society, or the ASPCA.
