Norma Ruth Guilfoil (Rosendale), "Noni," was promoted to glory on January 7, 2018, at North Kansas City Hospital, after a long battle with dementia.
She was born November 12, 1930, the daughter of Ed and Hazel Rosendale, and was married to Dr. Ralph Guilfoil.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and is survived by her sons, Gregory, Curt, and Matthew. She attended North Kansas City High School where she was the Yearbook Queen, the Editor of the Newspaper, GAA (Girls Athletic Association) President, and played in the band. She was a graduate of William Jewell College, where she placed first in the nation in team debate, was the Athletic Queen, and was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She had many different successful careers including: running an advertising agency, teaching and consulting. She was a proud member of the JK Chapter of PEO. Her lifelong interests included horseback riding and training, snow skiing, sewing, interior design and her pets. Noni and Ralph were proud, lifelong organizers of group ski trips to Colorado, and together they taught dozens of families in the Northland and beyond to snow ski over the years. She attended Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral.
We would ask in lieu of flowers to donate in her memory to KC Pet Project, 4600 E. 63rd Street, KCMO 64130. www.kcpetproject.com.
