Neva R. Laws, 72, passed away on August 12, 2021 at Brookdale of Overland Park.
She was born on November 1, 1948 to Robert and Grace (Goodrick) Hunt at Kansas City, MO.
Neva worked as a hair stylist for Sam Parris Salon, Sharon Oakley Salon, and Beauty Brands before retiring in 2018 .
On October 20, 1973, she married Floyd I Laws, and they made their home in Overland Park, Kansas.
She enjoyed collecting Elvis, Coke-a-Cola, and Tweety Bird & Sylvester memorabilia. Singing (especially with her husband Floyd playing the guitar), doing puzzles, sewing, and craft projects.
Neva is survived by her loving husband, Floyd, and her son Kevin Laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and brother.
Neva was known and loved for her joy of life, her giving heart, and her contagious laughter. She adored her husband Floyd and they were inseparable partners in life.
Memorials are suggested to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, 4400 Clayton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110.
