Neil W. Dodge, 85, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 11th, 2019. Neil was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Forest and Ora Dodge. He spent most of his life in the Kansas City area. Neil also lived in Sedalia for 35 years, where he was president of Inter-State Studios.
On May 24th, 1955, Neil married the love of his life, Valarie Crossley, who preceded him in death in 2011. Neil is survived by his children Gregory Dodge of Topeka, Diana Dodge of Overland Park, Steven (Nancy) Dodge of Blue Springs, and Doug Dodge of Shawnee. Also surviving are Neil's grandchildren Charlotte (Daniel) Hernandez, Sophie (Michael) Yount, Claire Dodge, and Forest Dodge. Neil is also survived by a brother, Dale Dodge, of Palm Desert, California. Neil was an avid golfer and KU fan. He loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed. Private burial services are planned.
