Nathan Ryan Marah

March 18, 1993 — September 3, 2020

Nathan Ryan Marah, our beloved son, age 27, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away in his sleep on Thursday, September 3, 2020. He was born on March 18, 1993 in Webster, Texas to Stephen and Robin (Schultz) Marah.

Nathan spent his first four years in Houston TX. His family moved to Olathe KS in 1997 where he attended Olathe schools and graduated from Olathe East High School in 2011. He was currently attending UMKC and JCCC majoring in Computer Science and Business. Nathan had a passion for learning history and a thirst for knowledge that made him the go to guy during trivia night. He pursued his love for the arts at KState, enjoyed indoor rock climbing and was an avid gamer.

Nathan's love of traveling began with a trip to Yellowstone National Park and sparked his love of the outdoors. He cruised to Alaska with his grandparents which planted the seed of future cruising. In high school he went on a 10 day instructor lead European trip where he skateboarded with several German teenagers.

Nathan will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Steve and Robin Marah of Olathe; his maternal grandparents, Steve and Marti Schultz of Kansas City; and his paternal grandparents, Bill and Pat Marah of Georgetown TX. He is also survived by his close friends AJ Fitzgerald of Olathe and William Oliver of Lawrence, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Olathe Memorial Cemetery in Olathe, KS.

The family requests memorial contributions in Nathan's memory be made to Feeding America or Harvesters.
