Nancy Ann Moll, 78, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was born on December 8, 1942, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to George and Charlotte (Brunk) Gray.
Nancy met Wayne through his sister while attending Shawnee Mission North High School. They were married shortly after graduation on March 4th, 1960, and started their life's journey together in an apartment on the Plaza. She worked for a number of local Kansas City area hospitals before eventually joining Shawnee Mission Medical Center as a transcriptionist for over thirty years. As their family grew, they relocated to Lenexa, Kansas and would raise four boys. Nancy was a very strong person with her core roots being her family. She was selfless and would help her kids and grandkids individually in her own way. She was a strong, amazing woman who lived life on her own terms.
Nancy was very fond of antiques, miniatures and watching figure skating. She would spend hours collecting and decorating her miniature houses that Wayne had painstakingly assembled for her. She had a large collection of antique dolls and enjoyed collecting the 50 state quarters. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and the occasional outing to the local casinos with her family to "play the slots."
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Wayne Moll; brother Randy Gray; son David Scott Moll (Scott) and wife Kim; son Bryan Moll and wife Debbie; son Kevin Moll and wife Laura; son Michael Moll. Ten grandchildren in order of age: Kirsten Snapp, Christopher Moll, Ryan Moll, Michelle Moll, Steven Moll, Ashlyn Moll, Tyler Moll, Jason Moll, Jonathan Moll, Jacob Moll. Four great-grandchildren in order of age: Piper Snapp, Nora Snapp, Ethan Snapp, June Moll
