Nadine Saunders

Nadine (Brown) Saunders, 87, "Miss Nadine", went home to heaven on August 10, 2018, in the presence of her family and some close friends.

Nadine was born November 27, 1930 in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Argentine High School in 1948, and started working at Swift & Company. During this time she met and married Clifford Saunders in 1950 and from this union son William Dean was born. Nadine worked for the Olathe School district in food service at Scarborough Elementary School. In 2009, Nadine, William, Lydia, Lauren and Jessica built a home together. Nadine enjoyed life, especially her church membership at Westbrooke Church in Overland Park, Kansas. She enjoyed vacations and many life adventures with friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford M. Saunders.

She leaves behind her loving son William, daughter-in-law Lydia and two granddaughters Lauren and Jessica, as well as many loving relationships.

Visitation will take place Saturday, August 18, from 9:00 to 11:00am at Westbrooke Church, 9777 Antioch Road, Overland Park, Kansas with service to follow. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Olathe, Kansas.
