Nadezhda Golshmid, age 83, passed away March 11, 2024, in Olathe Hospice House.
She was born April 18, 1940 to Vladimir and Alexandra (Funtova) Khalezov in Furmanov, Russia.
On April 23, 1966, she married Igor Golshmid, and they lived in Armenia and the Ukraine prior to moving to the United States in 1997.
She enjoyed cooking crepes and delicious cabbage rolls for her family, friends and neighbors.
Nadezhda is survived by her loving husband, Igor, children Lana Arutyunyan and Mikhail Golshmid, grandchildren Vladimir, Silviya, Alexandra, and Michelle, and great-grandchildren Alice and Erik.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, and her son-in-law, Alex Arutyunyan.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 15 at 10am at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
