Myrtle Maxine (Biberstein) Moore, 91, formerly of Wichita, KS passed away peacefully November 9, 2014 in Shawnee, KS.
She was born July 1, 1923 in Attica, KS to Frank and Myrtle (Carr) Biberstein. Following the death of her own mother in 1925, young Maxine was lovingly raised by her step-mother, Ailsie Hays Biberstein.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Our "Honey" was the sweetest lady that God put on this earth. For 65 years she was the loyal wife of Warner Moore, who passed away in 2006, and the devoted mother to her two sons. Maxine also loved dogs, and her Charlie Brown and Charlie Coal will now forever be by her side.
Maxine is survived by her son Dennis Moore and his wife Stephene of Lenexa, KS; son Randy Moore and his wife Eileen of New Braunfels, TX; her sister-in-law Betty Moore of Wichita, KS; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren. We will always remember spending the holidays with Honey, enjoying her famous Cowboy Cookies, and taking the dogs to the park. Honey placed family above everything, and she is surely smiling down on us today.
