Minerva Louise Brown, 97, of Olathe, KS passed away on July 28, 2018 at The Forum in Overland Park.
She was born on July 4, 1921 to Joseph and Jodi Wooley at Pine Bluff, AR.
On May 28, 1949 she married Melvin Brown in Paola, KS, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Olathe, KS.
Minerva is survived by her loving daughter, Debra A. Fox, and her grandchildren Jodi Calvert, Holly Buffington, and Julie La Combe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin A. Brown, daughter Judith Deane Jolley, and son, Anthony Melvin Brown.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 5 from 1:00pm-2:30pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 2:30pm.
Private burial will be in the Paola Cemetery.
