Mildred Seers

Mildred "Maxine" Seers 82, of Olathe, Kansas passed away July 14, 2010, at her home with her family by her bedside of natural causes. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice or Kansas City Harvesters.

Mrs. Seers was born December 30, 1927 in Mattoon, Illinois and was preceded in death by her parents Osborne and Mildred Fay Runyon and her husband of 28 years Edward Arthur Seers and a sister Gloria Goebel.
Mildred was a housewife and mother for 28 years and then she was the sole executive secretary for Central States Shoe Travelers Association for 45 years. Maxine was an avid reader and devoted follower of Christ. She was a self taught painter and enjoyed doing painting in her spare time.
She leaves six children James Seers and wife Cindy, Deborah and husband Rodney Swearingen, Claudia and husband Cortney Drake, Barbara and husband Barry Beurskens, Randall and wife Karen Seers, Thomas and wife Jennifer Seers. Grandchildren Sara Christofferson and husband Levi, Kellista Keaton and husband Jimmy, Laura Swearingen, Edward Swearingen, Jason Swearingen, Brandon Beurskens, Brett Beurskens, Ashley Seers, Amber Waite and husband Matt and Allison Seers. Great Grandchildren, Brenden Swearingen, Rylan Swearingen, Reece Shepherd and Keziah Keaton.
